From A Midsummer Nights Dream to Lord of the Rings, this exhibition explores illustrations from the Victorian & Edwardian books up to the contemporary  Lord of the Rings.

The Dalston Male Voice Choir (www.dalstonmvc.org.uk) was founded in February 1985. This year is its Silver Jubilee. The Choir has about 36 members. The objects of the Choir are to advance male voice singing by presentation of Public Concerts, to give pleasure to others and to help charitable causes. The DMVC has a policy of encouraging up and coming young musicians and they often appear as guest artists at concerts.

Stand - up comedian with his many tales including his childhood in Wales.

The Carlisle Fireshow is in the top ten bonfire and firework displays in the country and attracts around 35,000 people. The bonfire is themed and built to a specific construction which has a pyrotechnic and firework display set onto moving parts. The firework display which follows is spectacular and the whole show is set to music. A fairground and catering units are also on site and add to the atmosphere.

Theme for 2010 is The Circus.
